International Computer Graphics, Animation and Game Technologies Fair 'Eurasia Grpahics 2017' was held at Bahçeşehir University on 4th and 5th of November.
This year, Bahçeşehir University (BAU) hosts Eurasiagraphics which has started with the participation of many researchers and science committee formed by international experts in 2012.The international event whose subject areas were computer graphics, animation and games, gathers many researchers, experts and students that operate in these areas. The program forms a basis for many speakers,who were experts in their field, to share their presentations and works. The main focus of this year's event, which consists of a wide range of content, will be VR and Gaming. The event which will go under the name of 'Brave New Worlds : Virtual and Interactive Realities' gathers many important names with it's main focus, workshop branch and it's visual quality.
Peter Walsh, the Head of Game Design Department, of Vancouver Film School, will give the speech, 'Brave New Worlds' themed ,on the conference where the researchers will share their experiences and inventions within the context of computer graphics, animation and games.
Started in 2012, Eurasia Graphics is a non-profit event on computer graphics and applications. It aims to gather researchers, operators, students and industrial findings in the areas of computer graphics,animation and game within a amicable and collaborative environment.
Who is Peter Walsh ?
He conducts the leadership of Department of Game Development and Design for Games, Web and Mobile Programs department at Vancouver Film School. Walsh, who administers approximately 80 staff and 180 students, gave speeches on conferences including Chile, Brazil, India, China and Dubai. He helped founding Canada's first VR laboratory in the sponsorship of industry in 2016. He is in the Advisory Board of Coding Syllabus within the Government of Canadian for K-12 schools. He has published numerous books about game development. His books also have been translated into other languages. The works Peter has worked on broke sales records, received grand industry awards including BAFTAs, Golden Joysticks, Spike Tv awards and Interactive Arts Academy prize. He has worked in game industry for more than 10 years as software engineer, senior engineer and technical director. He also produced studies about motor and system technologies. He has worked on the last 10 years most liked games such as Harry Potter franchise, F1, Honour Medal Franchise, Crackdown, APB, Lemmings, The Shoot and others. Besides, he has works in the areas of marketing, manufacturing and business development. Being the citizen of Canada, Ireland and England, Walsh is still working up on new projects for game developing and teaching.
