The Bahçeşehir University (BAU) Graduation Ceremony took place at the Abdi İpekçi Arena. 3 thousand 100 students threw their mortarboards into the air at the ceremony while more than 11 thousand family members watched on and became a party of the excitement of their children.
At the Bahçeşehir University graduation ceremony, which this year graduated the members of the 17th academic year, 3 thousand 100 students threw their mortarboard into the air. Today, 26 thousand 500 students have graduated from Bahçeşehir University, which is one of the academic institutions with the highest numbers international student and which this year graduated 288 international students from 57 countries .
The ceremony started with a mini concert. Students were taken to the hall in turn according to faculties and departments. Students chanted 'We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal' at the ceremony, which continued with the national anthem and moment of silence. After this, a short film about Bahçeşehir University was shown. The opening speech of the ceremony was made by the President of the Board of Trustees of Bahçeşehir University Enver Yücel and Bahçeşehir University Rector Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın.

President of the Board of Trustees of Bahçeşehir University Enver Yücel, who gave advice to students in his speech, said "You have completed your educational life by coming to Istanbul and Bahçeşehir University from 104 different countries from every corner and region of the world, and I congratulate you. Whatever you do, do not forget that BAU is by your side. We know this very well, a university is powered by its graduates and grows with it graduates. Never leave your university alone. Open your BAU Global umbrella hang the BAU flag in every place, region, and country you visit and take the BAU sense of culture everywhere you go. Be open to the global world while protecting your values with the love and respect in our region and culture. Do not lock up your culture, and do not shut the doors to culture. Bahçeşehir University Rector Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın, who experienced the excitement of the graduation with the students, expressed that they felt the happiness of graduating the 17th year of students this year. Yalçın, who stated that more than 3 thousand students would receive their diplomas and graduate, added "While raising these students, we worked to produce a generation of youths who have the vision to be able to work across the world by taking not just the local needs into consideration. We wanted them to be youths who are job creators not job seekers. For Turkey, which God willing will become even brighter in the future because it is becoming a global power in the region, to take confident steps towards the future, it needs self-confident youths, and we too are experiencing the joy that raising such a generation gives."
AZERBAIJANI SIBLINGS FINISH UNIVERSITY WITH A DEGREE
Günel Musayeva, who came from Azerbaijan 5 years ago thanks to President of the Board of Trustees of Bahçeşehir University Enver Yücel and studied on a scholarship at Bahçeşehir University, graduated at the top of her class while her sister Kheyransa Musayeva received her diploma as third in her class. The siblings, who deeply thanked Yücel, stated that they were incredibly happy and that their hard work had paid off. The siblings, who underlined that the formula of success goes beyond hard work, express that they had never been separated during their education life and they have been comrades.

International Finance and Economics student Günel Musayeva, who graduated top of her class, said that "I can't find the words to express my joy, I am so happy. Because when a person works hard, and when something is taught by others for you, if you can reward that hard work, you are the happiest person in the world. The things that Bahçeşehir University gave me are countless in real terms. Many things were imparted to me in terms of education. The best experience of this was the term I studied at Syracuse University and while studying there I saw that our professors at Bahçeşehir University taught us so well that wherever we go, we can both keep pace with the changes there and at the same time gain something different for the system that is there. I want to reflect the things that I have learnt while studying here to my own career and work. For now, my first aim is to continue education."

International Finance and Business Department student Kheyransa Musayeva, who graduated university as the third-best student, said that she believes that a moment or a coincidence can change people's lives. Musayeva continued by saying
"Today I am living out the dream I had 5 years ago and there is no description for this, I am so happy, proud, and elated. We had the chance to meet with Enver Yücel while studying in Azerbaijan and he gave us the opportunity for a scholarship, and we came to this university thanks to his contribution. Bahçeşehir University is a world university and the thing it gained for me is raising (us) as global individuals and the education I received. I want to continue my academic career. I am thinking of a Master's program. Later on, I want gain experiences with internships and working life and become a scientist of the future. "
