Florida, USA-based GLOCER (Center for Global Education) hosted the Global Conference on Education and Research this year, too. The experts discussed global education and its problems during the conference which many international educational institutions and academics attended to.
The head of the jury, which consists of educators and professors, Professor Patrick J. Moreo, who is also an education scientist said the following during his speech at the award ceremony: "Today, the biggest need of the world is global education, featuring universal and humanitarian values. And, the best way to make our world a more habitable place pass through here. As the jury, we decided to grant this award to Enver Yucel while determining the winner of the Leadership in Global Education award by considering these values. Enver Yucel has built an excellent education network, universities, schools, and dormitories for students to accommodate on three continents. To be frank, it was not difficult to select Enver Yucel for this award."
On behalf of Enver Yucel, Chairman of Bahçeşehir Uğur Educational Institutions, who was granted the grand prize "Leadership in Global Education", Ahmet Kose, CEO of BAU Global's US Operations, received the award at the gala dinner and award ceremony of the Global Conference on Education and Research, which leaders of the education world attended to.
