Being organized by Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design and Mukogawa University in Japan, ICSA - Inter-Cultural Study of Architecture, which has been held 7 times in Japan and 5 times in Turkey, is being held for the first time in Italy, hosted by BAU Rome between 18-28 February 2017.
Architecture students in Japan have the opportunity to visit historically important buildings and spaces with guidance of specialists and examine cultural differences in the context of spatial reflections within the scope of this program.
This exchange program, which offers full scholarship to all participants, has been continuously organized since 2009, with participation of 156 students (76 Turkish and 80 Japanese students) in total.
With this program, which takes an important place in the professional development of the participants, Bahçeşehir University and Mukogawa University are aiming to contribute to the relationship between Turkey and Japan in scientific and cultural fields.
