Awards were distributed in the “500 Great Service Exporters of Turkey” research of TIM Export champion in education, Bahçeşehir University (BAU) received its award from Prime Minister Yıldırım.
Service export champions of Turkey were awarded by Turkish Exporters’ Association within the scope of the “500 Great Service Exporters of Turkey” research, conducted for the first time this year. At the award ceremony attended by Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, leaders from various sectors were also present. Companies ranking among the top three in 11 sectors were presented with their awards at that night. Bahçeşehir University received from Prime Minister Yıldırım the greatest prize in terms of export in education.
Prime Minister Yıldırım praised the exporters
During the speech he made at the award ceremony, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım stated that service sector requires intelligence, and said “We shall increase the amount of money gained with the mind. This is the way towards development. On behalf of our government and nation, we express our gratitude to our exporters, who introduce our country in every part of the world. I wish them continuing success.”
Enver Yücel, who is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Bahçeşehir University, Turkey’s export champion in the area of education, stated that “Number of foreign students in Turkey have quintupled in the last five years. Currently, there are approximately 90 thousand international students studying in our country. One of the five students of Bahçeşehir University is international. We shall increase these numbers. Annually, a foreign student leaves Turkey 40 thousand dollars. While exporting education, we also transfer our culture. Our main purpose is to introduce, represent, and serve our country.”
