4 programs of the BAU International Berlin University, first Turkish University which was opened in a European Union member country and started education in the year 2014 are accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat, WR) as a consequence of its successful efforts.
BAU International Berlin University, the first Turkish university to train global students within the borders of the European Union was recognized by the Council of Higher Education and gained a certificate of equivalence previously.
