The Bahçeşehir University Art Events Unit (BAUART) announced their calendar for December.
The BAUArt events calendar for December includes The Human Voice in Musical History Seminar, Guitar Baglama Duo Concert and the Resonance Concert.
THE HUMAN VOICE IN MUSICAL HISTORY
BAUArt initiates a series of seminars as of December, alongside the ongoing Choir School, Art Direction School and workshop programs. The first seminar of the series, scheduled for 3rd December, will be “ The Human Voice in Musical History with Hasan UÇARSU”. The training to be provided by Prof. Dr. Uçarsu, a contemporary Turkish composer of the young generation who has marked his name under numerous solo-orchestra and choir pieces as a composer, will take place at the BAU Galata Campus between 19:30-20:30.
BAGLAMA AND GUITAR HAND IN HAND
There is a Baglama & Guitar Duo Concert scheduled for 10th December on the BAUART events calendar. Ali Kazım Akdağ – on the baglama and Efkan Rende – on the guitar are performing pieces from diverse cultures, which have become part of the music literature, by combining instrumental techniques with a new perspective. The concert starts at 20:00 at the BAU Beşiktaş B Conference Hall.
“RESONANCE” ON STAGE
Resonance, who have marked their name under many international projects with their focus on a capella choir music, will take the stage at BAU B Conference Hall on 24th December. The concert to take place under the conductorship of European Choral Association member Burak Onur Erdem - the conductor of the Istanbul European Choir and deputy conductor of the State Polyphonic Choir, starts at 20:00.
