Students who do not complete their financial transactions by this date will have their access to the course registration system blocked during the first course registration period, and they will not be able to register for courses.

Applications for all types of lateral transfer, excluding internal (GPA-based) lateral transfers. Throughout the application period, English Proficiency Exams will be held on August 7, 11, 14, and 17, 2026, and Turkish Proficiency Exams will be held on August 3, 10, and 17, 2026, depending on the medium of instruction of the applied program. Only applicants with complete application documents for lateral transfer are eligible to take these exams. Applicants who possess a valid language proficiency certificate must upload this document to the application field during the application process.

Elective courses with insufficient enrollment during registration week will be closed on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 16:00, and students enrolled in these canceled courses will be notified via SMS. Associate degree and undergraduate students registered for these courses must select alternative courses via UMIS during the Add-Drop week (September 28–October 02, 2026)

Late course registration period for students who were unable to participate in the August course registration for the 2026–2027 academic year fall semester.

Announcements regarding this matter will be made to the students by the respective units administering the exams. The Department of General Education is responsible for the organization and administration of the exemption exams for the TLL1005-1006 courses taken by international students.

ADD-DROP Week: The course add-drop week for all Associate and Undergraduate students

Grade entry into UMIS for the ADDITIONAL exams, granted by regulations, taken by associate degree and undergraduate students in graduation status at the end of the 2025–2026 summer school.

Deadline for processing course adjustments for all eligible students (including double major and minor programs). Adjustments entries must be completed on the system by the Departmental Course Adjustment Coordinators. (Results must be submitted to the system by 15:00).

Elective courses with insufficient enrollment during the ADD-DROP week will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 (at 16:00). Associate degree and undergraduate students registered in these courses must select alternative courses via the UMIS system by Friday, October 2, 2026, at 16:00. No elective course selection or registration will be permitted after this date as the system will be closed. Students whose courses are dropped due to closure will be notified via SMS.

Courses registered by students who have not fulfilled their financial obligations will be dropped from their schedule, and these students will be processed as 'not registered for courses' for that semester. Whether assigned automatically by the system or selected manually by the student, students remain responsible for any courses that have not been dropped for any reason by this date. Scholarship students, in particular, must pay close attention to their course registrations under these circumstances.

Announcement of the 2026–2027 academic year fall semester final exam schedule to students.

Administration of early final exams for associate and undergraduate students incoming or outgoing via Erasmus, World Exchange, winter schools, or other exchange frameworks. Students requesting these exams must have finalized travel arrangements, verified by official documentation from their host/home institutions. This exam is not automatically granted to every outgoing student; it is strictly allocated due to overlaps in academic schedules. A verified student roster must be submitted by the International Academic Relations and Programs Unit to the President's Office by Friday, December 04, 2026, for distribution to the respective academic departments. Academic departments will then notify the listed students of their scheduled exam dates. Students granted early final exam rights must take all of their final exams during the early exam period and are strictly prohibited from taking exams during the regular final exam period.

Grading and evaluation period for student work in courses such as graduation capstone projects and internships.

Entry of 'NA' grades. Must be completed no later than 1 (one) week prior to the final exam of the respective course.

The departure of students taking these exams must be finalized and verified with an official document from their respective institutions. This exam is not automatically granted to every outgoing student; it is strictly allocated due to overlaps in academic schedules. A list concerning this matter must be submitted to the President's Office by the Directorate of the International Office no later than Friday, March 19, 2027, to be forwarded to the relevant units. The scheduled exam dates will be notified to the students on the list forwarded to the units, the course instructor, and the department to which the course belongs. Students granted the right to an early final must take all their final exams during the early final exam period and are strictly prohibited from taking exams during the regular final exam period.

There is no ADD-DROP period or course withdrawal in summer school (Students applying for ADDITIONAL exams must also register for summer school courses; if they qualify for graduation based on their ADDITIONAL exam results, they must have the summer school course dropped by the Student Affairs Office).

Completion of payment transactions by students taking courses in the 2026-2027 academic year summer school. The courses registered by students who fail to fulfill their financial obligations will be dropped, and the summer school registration of these students will be canceled. Summer school courses with an insufficient number of students will be closed. It is not possible for students whose courses have been dropped to resolve their payment issues and have their deleted courses re-assigned to them after Friday, June 25, 2027.

Courses that do not meet the opening requirements and must be closed in the summer school will be closed by the Directorate of Academic Planning at around 11:00, and students whose courses are dropped will be notified via SMS. Students must check the courses they will take on their systems for the last time on Thursday, June 24, 2027. If a course has been dropped because it did not open, the student can select another course through the system on June 25, 2027. Courses that do not meet the requirements but must remain open shall not count toward the course load and no tuition will be charged.
