Vision
Our vision is to extend the contemporary crucial distance education system in all departments and programs of our university, in Bahçeşehir College an Ugur Teaching Institutions and within this scope to develop interactive digital content and training material within this scope and maintain education activities from one single system.
Our vision as Distance Education Unit is to become a leading education institution which can easily adopt changing scientific and social conditions of 21st century, having a high level information and abilities, prone to team working and sharing culture. Thanks to the contents centering students and creatively uses information technologies, students will be encouraged for interaction. Moreover, lecturer-student and student-student interaction shall be maximized in order to raise easily adopting, reviewing, creative thinker, individuals with high communication capabilities who can use technology effectively and solve problems. Students, lecturers, support personnel and managers of Distance Education Unit family aim to be a pioneer department in promoting distance education culture in Bahçeşehir University and in Turkey.
The reason of establishment of the center is; to support plan, program, coordination and application activities of all programs including associate, undergraduate, master’s, continuous education and lifelong distance education programs, to develop course contents in order to maintain such programs efficiently, realize related research-development and applications studies, to support all distance education requests, to cooperate with other domestic and foreign distance education centers, transfer the information and experience to other institutions and bodies and make progress with regard to distance education. The unit aims to provide convenience to students, lecturers and management. The aim is to gain average thanks to distance education platform;
