The aim of the program is to train nurses who will take leading roles and responsibilities in health prevention and promotion, management and rehabilitation services for healthy people, patients, families and community, and who will be able to conduct high-quality research focused on primary health care needs and able to play a key role in dissemination and / or implementation of the study results into practice for improving nursing care.
Nursing Master’s Program includes specialty courses on basic concepts and theories in Health Sciences, Health Promotion, Clinical Physiology, Medical Nursing, Research Methods, Surgical Nursing, Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, Women’s Health and Obstetric Nursing, Neurology Nursing, Cardiology Nursing and Oncology Nursing.
Master's students are required to complete at least 21–credit course in two consecutive semesters. Except the seminar course, the program consists of at least 9 courses. After the completion of the courses successfully, students are required to complete their thesis in two consecutive semesters and to make a presentation of their thesis to the jury which is determined by the Board of Directors of the Graduate School of Health Sciences.
