As the American Studies Center, we organize programs that appeal to broad masses. The experience and the know-how that we gained through organizing our traditional programs, we are used to arrange the round-table meetings, which are becoming more and more important within the last years.
The round-table meetings, that became important events of the American Studies Center, are organized periodically and aim to examine in depth Turkish-American relations, foreign policy, globalization and many other issues. Identifying standpoints, determining problems and finding solutions to these problems are other important goals of these meetings.
During these meetings, we take the broader framework of the issues into consideration and we analyze and share information about the more limited issues. Briefly, first we define a main topic. After that we divide that topic into more specific issues. Then we cover each of these issues in separate meetings. In these meetings, we are honored by the presence of great academicians, journalists, politicians, representatives of civil public organizations who are experts in their fields. The information we obtain during the meetings are turned into reports and published on our websites.
