Introduction to statistical techniques employed in the analysis and interpretation of quantitative data. The topics include descriptive statistics, basic probability, probability distributions, sampling and estimation, testing statistical hypotheses, regression and time series forecasting. 

 

The workshops will be open to students and faculty with a background in the social, behavioral, and educational sciences and preferably those with a “project” of interest, focusing on a local or national 

social, economical or managerial issues.

 

At the end of the workshop, "Certificate" will be given to all participants.
