The workshops will be open to students and faculty with a background in the social, behavioral, and educational sciences and preferably those with a “project” of interest, focusing on a local or national social or economic issue, e.g. evaluation studies in any area of social, economic or educational importance, gender and other cultural studies, civic and political  engagement, identity development and economic modeling etc.).  

 

Participants will develop sophisticated research skills in applied, multiple methods (e.g., experimental, survey, archival, ethnography, focus groups, interviews, mapping) and working on policy-based research projects, and collaborating with colleagues engaged in similar projects in other nations/communities.
