ALES (Academic Staff & Graduate Studies Entrance Exam |
50% |
A minimum score of 55 in ALES (any type of ALES score) or an equivalent score in any other exam whose equivalency is recognized by the Council of Higher Education is required for Master’s programs with thesis. For Non-thesis Master’s Program applications, candidates are not required to submit ALES exam scores. For applicants who have not taken the ALES exam, the ALES exam score is accepted as 55 in the admission process. |

For Thesis/Non-thesis TEFL Master’s Program applications, minimum foreign language exam score requirements are stated as; YDS (Foreign Language Exam):80 (in English), TOEFL-IBT:79, IELTS:6,5, Bahçeşehir University Proficiency Exam:85 or an equivalent score in any other exam whose equivalency is recognized by the Council of Higher Education. |

* Candidates who apply for the Master’s Programs in English Language Teaching are not required to take scientific preparation courses.
International Applications: Only the Grade Point Average and the Foreign Language (English) minimum criteria will be sought in the applications of citizens of foreign countries.
