Lifelong Learning Opportunities Provided
As the International Leadership Research and Application Center (ULMER), we aim to contribute to our University's sustainable development goals through our publicly accessible programs. These activities help develop a vision for the future and establish a relationship between participants and the University.
The mission of our year-round programs is to bring distinguished guest speakers from within and outside the University together with the community, serving as a bridge for the flow of ideas and information.

A number of active and retired diplomats have participated in our School of Diplomacy program. Experts in international relations have shared their knowledge on issues within their expertise, creating an opportunity to engage with the changing parameters and new paradigms of international relations. The outputs of this program are published regularly.

Faculty of Medicine
As BAU Faculty of Medicine, we organize the "Science Talks in the Heart of Istanbul" meetings, open to the public, on the last Friday of every month. In addition, we regularly hold science talks under the theme "Target: Nobel." Among our most important goals with these free, public lecture series are to help Faculty of Medicine students gain new perspectives on various topics in health and science, and to inform participants about the health topics discussed.
Through these event series, our Faculty brings together all participants with prominent speakers known for their work not only on health-related subjects but in all scientific disciplines associated with the concept of health, while also contributing to public awareness through important information on health and science.
