Director's Message

Shaping the Future of Finance and Decentralized Technologies

Welcome to BlockchainIST Center, Türkiye's first and only university research and development center in the fields of blockchain, crypto-economics and financial technologies.

When we founded BlockchainIST, our goal was clear: to build a strong bridge between pioneering academic research and the rapidly changing practical dynamics of the global financial revolution. Today, we are a research and development center where theory meets practice. From launching our country's first and only FinTech Master's Program to playing an active role in the regulatory processes that will shape the future of digital assets, we lead social and technological progress at every level.

The world of finance is going through a major paradigm shift. As decentralized finance protocols, digital currencies and AI-powered financial services redefine global markets, Türkiye holds a unique position to become a regional and global financial technology hub. At BlockchainIST, we are building the infrastructure of this future today. We educate the pioneering students of tomorrow, prepare industry professionals for the future, provide strategic consultancy to major public and private sector players, and share in the excitement of young innovators by serving as jury members and mentors at the most prestigious hackathons.

Through our regular live broadcasts on CNBC-e, Bloomberg HT, A Para and TRT, we aim to simplify complex technologies and encourage an accurate, informed and strategic adaptation process across all segments of society.

Whether you are an academic who wants to conduct boundary-pushing research, an industry leader seeking strategic direction, or a student who wants to shape the next wave of financial innovation, BlockchainIST Center is your gateway to the future.

Let's build the decentralized world of the future together.
