Deadline for entering the course adjustments of all students whose course adjustments will be processed (including double major and minor programs). Adjustment entries must be made through the system by the Department Adjustment Administrators. (Results must be entered into the system by 15:00.)

Elective courses that do not have sufficient student enrollment during the ADD-DROP WEEK will be closed on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 16:00. Associate and undergraduate students enrolled in these courses must select alternative courses through the UMIS system by Friday, October 3, 2025, at 16:00. After this date, no further elective course selection or registration will be possible as the system will be closed. Students whose courses are dropped due to closure will be notified via SMS.

Students who fail to fulfill their financial obligations will have their registered courses removed, and for that semester, they will be processed as “did not register for courses.” Whether the course was assigned by the system or registered by the student themselves, the student remains responsible for any courses not removed from their record by this date for any reason. Scholarship students, in particular, must pay careful attention to their course registrations in this regard.

Early final exams for Associate and Undergraduate students who are coming to the university through Erasmus, World Exchange, Winter School, or similar programs and who will be going abroad under the same programs. Only students whose departure is confirmed and supported with official documentation from their institutions are eligible for these exams. Early final exams are not granted to every student going abroad—only to those whose academic calendars conflict with the university’s exam period. A list of such students must be submitted by the Office of International Academic Relations and Programs to the Rectorate no later than Friday, December 5, 2025, for distribution to the relevant academic units. The departments will inform the students listed of the scheduled date of their early final exams. Students who are granted early final exam rights must take all their final exams during this early exam period. They cannot take exams during the regular final exam period.

Early final exams will be administered for Associate and Undergraduate students who are either incoming through Erasmus, World Exchange, or similar programs, or outgoing within the same frameworks. Students eligible for these exams must have confirmed travel plans and must provide documentation from their institution as proof. Not every student going abroad will be granted early finals—these exams are only given in cases where there is a scheduling conflict with academic calendars. A list of eligible students must be submitted by the International Office Directorate (UOD) to the Rectorate by Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the latest, in order to be forwarded to the relevant departments. The planned exam dates will be communicated to the students on the list, the course instructors, and the departments offering the courses. Students granted the right to take early finals must take all of their final exams during the early final period. They are not permitted to sit for the regular final exams.

SUMMER SCHOOL

Summer school course registrations. There is no ADD-DROP period or course withdrawal in summer school. (Students who apply for the Additional Exam must also register for summer school courses. If they graduate based on the Additional Exam results, they must have the relevant summer school course(s) removed from their records by the Student Affairs Office.)

Completion of payment transactions for students enrolled in 2025–2026 summer school courses. Students who do not fulfill their financial obligations will have their registered courses removed, and their summer school enrollment will be cancelled. Summer school courses with insufficient enrollment will be closed. Students whose courses are removed due to non-payment cannot have these courses reassigned to them after Friday, 10 July 2026, even if they resolve their payment issues.

Courses that do not meet the opening requirements for the summer school and need to be closed will be removed by the Academic Planning Directorate around 11:00. Students whose courses are dropped will be informed via SMS. Students must check their course schedules on the system one last time on Thursday, 09 July 2026. If a course is dropped due to not opening, the student may select another course through the system on the same day. Courses that do not meet the requirements but remain open will not be counted towards course load and will not be subject to payment.

Turkish Preparatory Program - End of the summer school courses

Last day for all Associate and Undergraduate students to complete their financial procedures for Fall Semester course registration for the 2026–2027 academic year. Students who fail to fulfill their financial obligations will not have access to the system during the first course registration period and will not be able to register for coursesr.

This is the week when Associate and Undergraduate program students (including international students) complete their course registrations via the UMIS system. For newly enrolled first-year students, courses will be assigned automatically by the Student Information System. Students of the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry Faculty students will register for their semester-based courses during this period.
