Innovations

1. The department's mission and objectives have been renewed in line with the updated university mission and objectives.

2. The department (program) learning outcomes have been completely renewed in line with the learning needs of the modern era and the requirements of the relevant sectors.

3. The Department Advisory Board has been established, the new learning outcomes have been presented to its members, and at the online meeting held on 30 September 2022 between 16:30 and 17:30, the importance of field visits and applied work in new course proposals and in the delivery of existing courses was emphasized.

4. In line with the recommendations of the Advisory Board members, a museum visit has been added to the Fall semester course POL4414 Strategic Studies and Military Technologies, and work has begun to add courses such as Digital Diplomacy and Politics in the Asia-Pacific to the curriculum. These recommendations will also be followed in preparing Spring semester courses.

Updates

1. The "About", "CV", "Publications" and "Projects" sections on the department page have been updated.

2. The core data and all courses in the ECTS Package have been updated in English and Turkish.
