Graduation Ceremony Participation Information
Dear Bahçeşehir University Graduates,
In order to participate in our graduation ceremony, you must have a cap and gown. Students who do not have a cap and gown can purchase or rent them from Room B203 at the BAU South Campus between July 1st - July 13th. Graduates without a cap and gown will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
Important Information:
It is mandatory to attend the graduation ceremony with a cap and gown. The cap and gown rental/purchase office will be open in Room B203 from 01.07.2024 to 13.07.2024, between 10:30-12:30 / 13:30-18:30, and will be closed on Sundays.
Graduates who wish to rent a cap and gown must transfer the rental fee of 1200 TL to the bank IBAN number provided below, with their student number and full name in the description. After payment, the rental or purchase process can be completed by presenting the receipt to the staff in the office. One graduate may obtain a cap and gown on behalf of another graduate, but the specified amount must be paid by the graduate themselves, and the receipt must be provided to the person collecting on their behalf.
Graduates who wish to return their caps and gowns after the graduation ceremony can do so between July 16th, 2024 and July 31st, 2024, from 10:30-12:30 / 13:30-18:30. They must return the cap and gown in full and fill out the “Return Form”. Refunds will be made to the IBAN number specified in the “Return Form”. If two or more payments are made from the same IBAN, only one refund will be processed. The return fee for caps and gowns after the graduation ceremony is 700 TL. Students who wish to return their caps and gowns must present the receipt.
Note: Cap and gown rental and return transactions will be carried out via EFT/Transfer to bank account numbers, and no cash payments will be accepted.

The participation criteria for the graduation ceremony are as follows. If you believe you meet the participation criteria and your name is not on the lists, you must contact your faculty secretary. After the suitability information is conveyed to the Organization unit by the faculty secretary, additions will be made to the graduation lists, and graduates will then be able to receive their caps and gowns.
