Ottoman History Research and Application Center (OTAM) conducts research on Ottoman history and organizes academic meetings. Shares the results of these studies with other researchers and the public. Center staff develop academic projects in addition to the research they conduct and are involved in. Since the Ottoman History Research and Application Center also runs the History Master's Program, it encourages the participation of students in the mentioned studies. Thus, students are provided with research experience.
Since Ottoman History studies have an international character, our Center takes care to cooperate with universities within and outside Turkey. Thus, it aims to quickly adapt to the innovations emerging in historiography and Ottoman historiography.
