The aim of BAU Focus is to identify the needs of the students who have just joined Bahçeşehir University (BAU) family and to maintain their motivation and success by catering for their personal, academic, career and relationship needs throughout their education life.
BAU Focus, developed in partnership with BAU School of Foreign Languages, BAU Dean of Students Office and CLT (Centre for Learning and Teaching), aims to make our first year students ready for university life not only for their career goals, but also for their personal and relationship needs that they will encounter in life.
BAU Focus believes that it is important for students to feel as a whole with their personal and social needs in order to maintain a good life for themselves and the society. For this reason, BAU Focus is a kind of Life Skills Training program aiming at educating students who are curious to know more about themselves and their interests, want to have high self-awareness, solve interpersonal problems effectively, make career plans in accordance with their personality traits, and overcome academic difficulties.
With this program, we aim to support the development of students in our university in terms of individual and social competencies, as well as their academic and career goals.
