With this support, BAU provides support to the projects of the faculty members that include personal or interdisciplinary scientific research and development activities with universally original subjects and the outputs that have the potential to contribute to science.
Co-financing support is given to the projects in which the faculty member of BAU is or will work as an executive, coordinator or institution responsible, and that has received or will receive funding from national or international institutions.
With this support, BAU aims to create a culture of R&D, design, and entrepreneurship, to encourage research, applied research, R&D, design, and technology demonstration/prototype development/production activities. In this direction, within the scope of this support, infrastructure acquisitions within BAU or planned to be established, development of infrastructure of existing laboratories and centers, purchases of necessary services to increase the capacity and launching activities of these structures, or infrastructure requests for new laboratories and central institutions are supported.
This support is provided to the students of BAU's units, which provide undergraduate education for 4 years or more, and students enrolled in formal education programs with the aim of creating R&D and design cultures, encouraging research and design activities, and developing solutions for the needs of the industry.
With this support, undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in competitions such as Teknofest, ‘Patentle Türkiye’ Competition, Design Competitions, Robotics, Ministry Competitions, IMMIB, FRC, etc or TUBITAK 2209-A Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students or TUBITAK 2209-B Industry Oriented Research Project Support Programme for Undergraduate Students.
BAU faculty members provide employment and research budget support to post-doctoral researchers within the scope of their research projects, to include researchers with doctoral titles who will support them in their scientific activities and who can contribute to the research potential of BAU.
This support is a fund reserved for outstanding academics. Projects and studies that include personal or interdisciplinary scientific research and development activities of BAU faculty members, which deal with universally original subjects and whose outputs are expected to contribute to science, are supported. Administrative personnel may also take part in the studies when deemed necessary within the scope of this fund.
