Film and Television Master's Program
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Film and Television Master's Program has a curriculum built on examining and researching film and television media from an interdisciplinary perspective that involves collaboration between cultural, sociological, psychological, historical, political and linguistic approaches, and it also provides a foundation for producing work in these media. The program addresses the link between mass media products and the "audience" as well as the concepts of "performance and spectacle," and examines different filmographies in light of cinema's social reflections. To this end, the program offers students a very wide variety of elective courses.
