Our Erasmus Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) Project Selected for Funding by the European Commission!

Our EMDM project "Migration, Diversity and Governance" (MiDiGo), funded by the European Commission, is a preparatory grant for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree (EMJM).

Through our Erasmus Mundus project, we aim to establish a joint mechanism with partner higher education institutions to create an integrated transnational master's degree across Europe in the fields of Migration, Diversity and Governance, with a focus on the Mediterranean region. To achieve this, with the help of this project submitted to the Commission, we aim to overcome barriers related to quality assurance, accreditation, and the recognition of degrees and credits.

The coordinator of MiDiGo is Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata, Founding Director of the Bahçeşehir University Center for Migration and Urban Studies. The MiDiGo international consortium consists of leading research institutions in the fields of Migration, Diversity and Governance: Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) from Spain, Luiss Guido Carli University from Italy, Fulda University of Applied Sciences from Germany, and The American University in Cairo (AUC) from Egypt.
