The Vaccination Tents On Our Campus
Bahçeşehir University established vaccination tents in campuses in coordination with Beşiktaş District Governorship and Beşiktaş District Health Directorate. Vaccine, the most effective method battling against the COVID-19 pandemic, was supported on campuses. Other than employees in the university and students, it was also open for the public to get vaccinated to take care of public health.
With the circular from the Ministry of Interior, in order to enter the university it is required for academic and administrative personnel and students to have at least 2 doses of vaccine or to do a PCR test twice a week. Thanks to the vaccination tents opened in Bahçeşehir University campuses, students, academic and administrative personnel who has incomplete vaccination have the opportunity to be easily vaccinated. With this application, Bahçeşehir University supported the active role vaccine has when fighting with viruses and increasing the vaccination rates.
BAU Faculty of Medicine doctors and District Health Institution personnel provided services at the vaccination tents.
