Announcement about the English Proficiency Exam (Online) on 16 May 2020

The English Proficiency Exam held by the School of Foreign Languages for students who apply to graduate programs of our university will be held online on May 16, 2020.

 

Online Exam Date: Saturday, May 16, 2020

Exam Time: 10.00 am

 

Detailed information about the candidates' participation in the exam is as follows;

Candidates who will take the English Proficiency exam must submit their attendance status to [email protected] until May 12, 2020, 6.30 pm

 

The exam will be held on ITSLEARNING and ADOBE CONNECT. The steps that candidates must follow on 14 May 2020 will be sent to their e-mail addresses in video form.

 

Candidates must have their photo ID with them on the day of the exam. Students are required to have cameras and microphones for the exam.

The format of the English Proficiency Exam is given below.

PART 1: WRITTEN EXAM

 

Number of questions: 45 (multiple-choice) +1 writing task

Duration: 135 minutes

Weighting: 80%

Description: The questions on the test have been designed to assess the following: vocabulary, use of English, reading, listening and writing

Procedure: The student draws will answer two questions in detail.
